Austin Air HealthMate Plus Junior HEPA filter and carbon canister filter are combined together in one filter assembly.
True HEPA filter traps 99.97% of all microscopic airborne allergens and dust down to 0.3 micron in size.
Activated carbon canister contains 6.5 lbs. of specialty Superblend adsorbent for effective removal of VOCs, formaldehyde, ammonia and other specific chemicals.
Austin Air HealthMate Plus Junior replacement filter assembly comes with a pre-filter of matching color:

• Black for units in Black and Midnight Blue colors
• White for units in White and Sandstone colors

The whole filter assembly has to be replaced when either True HEPA or activated carbon filter reaches the end of its lifetime.
Filter's Lifetime: 2 to 5 years (under normal residential conditions).
The filter assembly is covered by the 5-Year Pro-rated manufacturer's warranty (applicable only for units used under normal residential conditions).
