  Oversize activated carbon canister filter is the core of the AirPura T700 air filtration system. It is similar to the one installed in the AirPura C600 and contains a colossal amount (26 lbs.) of granulated activated carbon adsorbent from Coconut Shell. Such a significant amount of adsorbent combined with the extended dwelling time in 3-inch deep carbon bed results the unparalleled adsorption capacity and efficiency in removal of toxic chemical substances in tobacco smoke such as: Acetone, Ammonia, Benzene, Creosol, Formaldehyde, Hydrogen cyanide, Nicotine, Phenol, Toluene and nearly 400 other harmful toxic chemicals.
