  The oversize carbon filter canister filled with massive amount (26 lbs.) of specially enhanced Super Blend VOC adsorbent is the core of AirPura C700DLX air filtration system. The Super Blend adsorbent contains a blend of 83% of activated granulated carbon from Coconut shell and 17% of Potassium iodide additive. Such a huge amount of adsorbent combined with an extended dwelling time in 3-inch deep carbon bed renders the unparalleled adsorption capacity in removal of heavy VOCs and specific chemicals in high concentrations along with all regular chemicals and noxious odors.
  Important Notice!
  The AirPura C700DLX specialty enhanced VOC adsorbent blend contains Potassium Iodide additive known for its own slight odor. Although it's not offensive and doesn't affect the absolute majority of air purifier users, some individuals with elevated or multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) may experience a feeling of discomfort or irritation, and therefore are advised to use the following models instead:
  - AirPura C700 with 26 lbs. of regular Coconut Shell or Anthracite carbon,

• HEPA-Barrier Post Filter.
  The AirPura C700DLX oversize carbon canister doesn't leave sufficient room in its filter compartment for placement of a Standard True HEPA filter. Therefore, in order to provide an adequate filtration of the air from common allergens and dust, the HEPA-type filter barrier is used in AirPura C700DLX instead.
  
  
• Pre Filter.
  The non off-gassing standard Polyester based Pre-filter is the first stage of the AirPura C700DLX air filtration system. The  pre-filter effectively traps most of large visible dust and dirt particles, while protecting the air filtration system from faster contamination and helps extend its lifetime.
  The optional unbleached pesticide-free Cotton Pre filter is available in AirPura C700DLX to concerned air purifier owners.

AirPura C700DLX is equipped with upgraded 15% More Powerful yet Super quiet and energy efficient backward impeller Motor/Fan assembly paired with a Variable speed control and rated at an impressive 635 CFM of air flow.
The one-piece Motor/Fan assembly is factory balanced to ensure vibration and noise-free operation.
